Last year's MSF Fun Run

Each year hundreds of our amazing supporters come together to raise money for MSF by taking part in a 5k or 10k fun run around Regent's Park. Last year the 300 runners and 50 volunteers who took to the course helped us raise an astonishing £48,993!

Why did people take part?

I ran for…

babies like seven-month-old Youssouf, from Mali.

He was referred to Koutiala Hospital - where MSF is running the paediatrics department alongside the Ministry of Health - with severe pneumonia and malnutrition. He was treated with antibiotics and therapeutic milk."

I volunteered for…

the MSF Fun Run for the second time last year. It’s always a great morning; I really enjoy meeting MSF staff and cheering the runners on during the race.

It’s inspiring to see so many people who are determined to raise funds and awareness for MSF’s work, and I particularly enjoy the amazing array of costumes that people decide to run in!
