Nursing | Managing nurses in a South Sudan refugee camp

Joseph Azeem is an intensive care nurse from Pakistan who began his career with MSF in the wake of that country’s 2005 earthquake.

He’s currently the nursing activity manager at MSF’s clinic in the Doro refugee camp in South Sudan, where he oversees the work of about 40 nurses and nursing assistants.

For International Nurses Day (12 May 2018), MSF spoke to Joseph about the importance of nursing care in the overall treatment of patients.
