The following workshops will take place around MSF Scientific Days International. If you would like to attend any of them please read the course criteria and apply below.

Data Analytics: 11 & 12 May | All Day - Apply Here

This course is aimed at MSF staff whose daily work involves analysis and reporting of epidemiological data (beyond the routine data collection and monitoring systems) especially in outbreak response.

If you are a medical coordinator/programme manager, epidemiologist  or anyone working daily with epidemiological data analysis and outbreaks, and needing to improve your analytical skills, you may be interested on this course!

This two-day short course, co-organised by the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and MSF, will provide an introduction to epidemiological analysis using the R and R Studio software. Participants will get an introduction and overview of conducting outbreak epidemiological analyses in R and will gain practical experience of packages for data analysis using examples from contexts in which MSF works.

Basic Requirements:

  • Experience of statistical analysis
  • Knowledge of data manipulation in Excel
  • Basic understanding of outbreak epidemiology
  • Participants will require their own laptop with administrator rights.

Please note that places are limited and we will let you know as soon as possible if your application has been successful.
