MSF Scientific Days Code of Conduct
Attendees, speakers, sponsors and volunteers at MSF Scientific Days are expected to agree with the following code of conduct.
Organisers will enforce this code throughout the event. We expect cooperation from all participants to help ensure a safe environment for everybody.

The Quick Version
Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF) is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of:
- gender identity and expression
- sexual orientation
- physical appearance
- body size
- religion (or lack thereof)
- or technology choices.
All communication should be appropriate for a professional audience. Be kind to others, do not insult or put down other attendees.
We don't tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery isn't appropriate for:
- any of our sessions
- social media
- or other online media as related to the conference.
Conference participants violating these rules may be asked to leave the conference; at the discretion of the conference organisers.

The Less Quick Version
Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, technology choices, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.
Participants asked to stop any harassing behaviour are expected to comply immediately.
Sponsors and organisers are also subject to the anti-harassment policy.
If a participant engages in harassing behaviour, the conference organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the conference.
If you're being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please firstname.lastname@example.org immediately.
We expect you to follow these rules during the conference and break-out sessions/workshops and the reception.
