Volunteering
Volunteers are an essential part of MSF UK. We benefit from a strong team of regular volunteers who support our permanent staff in positions which frequently involve clerical work, although we do our best to take advantage of any special skills and experience.
Once volunteers have been with us for a period of time and know how our offices operate, there may be an opportunity to be included in more challenging projects.
Normally, placements are for a regular day, or days, each week for an optimum period of six months. Our volunteer placements are during regular working hours Monday to Friday.
Internships
In addition to office volunteering, MSF UK offers a selection of unpaid internships. These are fixed term placements of three months full time, or six months part time.
Previous internships have been offered in Communications, Human Resources, IT and Programmes. These are an chance to develop specific skills through structured learning, coaching and regular review.
Internships demand a large time commitment, regular schedule and make a substantial contribution to our work. Applications can only be accepted for advertised vacancies, please check this page on a regular basis for opportunities.
