LYRIX ORGANIX is a not-for-profit show, which has donated profits to Medecins Sans Frontieres’ emergency medical aid appeals for Chad, Somalia, southern Sudan, Congo and Haiti.

LYRIX ORGANIX recently smashed Brighton Festival Fringe to 5* reviews with a unique Hip Hop freestyle theatre production. You can also find us at Old Queens Head in Islington, Rich Mix in Shoreditch (Oct 23) and Rising Styles/Brighton Hip Hop Festival (Oct 7).

The ethos behind Lyrix Organix is conscious, positive, independent and grass-roots music – harnessing the triumvirate of words, sound and power. To fulfill the conscious element of the project, MSF was chosen as a suitably deserving and independent charity that appealed to both my personal beliefs and the interests of the Lyrix Organix audiences. I feel strongly about using the Arts as a platform for promoting positive messages and making a difference to those less fortunate than ourselves.

Lyrix Organix occurs every two months, with further shows at Rich Mix, Graffik and Rising Styles (Brighton Hip Hop Festival) scheduled for 2010. Further festivals and tours are being planned for the future.
