Today, Condition: Critical, the MSF multimedia project giving a voice to the people living the war in Eastern Congo (DRC), launches its latest chapter focusing on Congo's youth.
In SURVIVE, the first of three videos made for Condition: Critical focusing on teens in the war, Bahati tells us his story. Whilst trying to get home, he, his aunt, uncle and cousin took refuge in a banana plantation for the night. As they were sitting there, three men opened fire on them. There was an explosion and Bahati was injured. Tragically, his baby cousin died on the spot.
