Out of Somalia – an illustrated report from Dadaab

In late February 2011, cartoon illustrators and authors Andréa Caprez and Christoph Schuler travelled to the Dagahaley refugee camp, on the Kenya-Somalia border. Their illustrated story describes the living conditions of the refugees in the camp.

DRC: cholera epidemic in pictures

Although the eastern parts of DRC have frequent cholera outbreaks, it is more than 10 years since the western provinces have had an epidemic. “It was early June that the epidemic started exploding again,” says Félix Tran, project coordinator of MSF’s mobile emergency team in Congo.
