Enter The Power of Small competition with MSF and Lyrix Organix
Music is powerful. Music changes lives. We asked you to write the music for The Power of Small, a groundbreaking animation about our life-saving work, and we have been overwhelmed by the response.
From more than 90 entries, we whittled the shortlist down to an incredibly strong final four. Over the last week, MSF supporters and music fans across the world have voted and the results are in.
And the winner is...
Congratulations go to Nathan Stornetta! With more than 350 likes and thousands of views, your tune will now be the official soundtrack to The Power of Small animation. Well done! The final, fully mastered version of The Power of Small animation will be on the MSF UK YouTube channel soon.
A huge thank you goes to Samuel, David and Sebastien for their contributions to The Power of Small, as well as all the other competitors. It was an incredibly tough competition. You can watch the other finalists' videos in the shortlist below.
The jury to select our shortlist was made up of representatives from MSF plus Dan Tsu, from our partner Lyrix Organix, and James Heather of the hugely influential Ninja Tune record label.
As well as his work being distributed worldwide, Nathan will also receive some great prizes from our partners:
- A slot on an upcoming Lyrix Organix release
- One-to-one master class with one of Lyrix Organix’s successful professional artists
- Shure SRH1440 open-back headphones (RRP £329)
