A group of HIV women in one of Zimbabwe’s poorest township decide to form a soccer team in order to compete in a tournament. They want to fight stigma by proving to everyone that they can win the tournament’s trophy.
The Positive Ladies Soccer Club is a short film made by MSF to highlight the stigma felt by people living with HIV/AIDS, but also to show how these people conquer the challenges it presents them with.
The film is being screened all day in the Black Gazebo at the Bath Film Festival on Sunday, 15th November. MSF staff will also be attending if you have any questions about the film or about MSF's work with HIV positive people.
