Over the course of the 15th and 16th of April Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) evacuated 99 people, including 64 war-wounded and 35 accompanying persons, by boat from Misrata, Libya to Zarzis, Tunisia.
This operation took place two weeks after a first boat evacuation of 71 injured people from the war torn city.
Before evacuating the wounded medical supplies were unloaded. MSF has donated supplies to the Libyan medical committee in order to help health facilities cope with the large number of patients.
