Diploma in Laboratory Technology or a degree in Microbiology with applied medical parasitology and bacteriology

Proven knowledge of STD’s, virology, Tuberculosis, blood bank, malaria, HIV

Knowledge and ability required in the techniques of sample taking (blood, stool, sputum)

Knowledge of laboratory testing quality control methods

Available for a minimum of nine months

Minimum of three months travel or work experience in developing countries

Willing to work in unstable areas

Adaptable and able to work in a team

Flexible and able to manage stress

Able to provide training and supervision to others
