The MSF team in Kashmir produce a long running radio soap opera in order to try and promote understanding of mental health issues in the area. Called “Alaw Baya Alaw" - Kashmiri for “Hello Brother, Hello”- it has broadcast since 2005. Years of violent conflict has resulted in a generation in which mental health problems are widespread.
