Do you have information on the work of MSF that I can pass to my potential sponsors or display at my event?

Certainly, we can send you leaflets, copies of our newsletter Dispatches, posters and DVDs, just contact Joanna.Davies@london.msf.org

Do you have an MSF T-shirt for me to wear during the event?

T-shirts are available, in a range of sizes for people who are fundraising for MSF. If you would like one, please contact Joanna.Davies@london.msf.org

Does MSF hold places in the London Marathon and other organised runs?

Unfortunately, we do not hold any charity places in marathons and other runs. Supporters have taken part in such events for us in the past, but it has been through gaining their own place, for example with the Flora London Marathon you would need to enter their ballot for a place.

I would like to approach companies for sponsorship, is this OK?

We are happy for you to approach companies for sponsorship; many companies in fact match the sponsorship raised by their staff, which is great. However, MSF does have a corporate gift acceptance policy that we must follow in all areas of our fundraising. If you are hoping to raise sponsorship from companies, please contact Joanna.Davies@london.msf.org first to discuss our corporate policy.

Not everyone will want to sponsor me online, how should I collect this money and whom should I send it to?

Collecting sponsorship online is the most efficient way to raise funds for MSF and for you to keep track of your fundraising. However, if some people do not have access to the Internet we do have paper sponsorship forms that you can download here. If you receive cash donations we would prefer that you bank these and send in one cheque to cover the amount. If your sponsors would like to make out cheques to MSF, these can be made payable to Médecins Sans Frontières. It is easier for us to keep track of your fundraising if you were to collect all the cheques and then send them in at the end of your event, please can these be sent for the attention of Joanna Davies to

Can I raise money for a particular MSF programme?
