Why should you fundraise for MSF?
Raise money
More and more people are choosing to raise money for MSF. Fundraising can be a great way to have a good time while supporting MSF.
Some are taking up a personal challenge, such as running their first marathon or climbing a mountain. Other people are organising concerts, jumble sales or collections among their friends.
Raise awareness
By inviting your friends to sponsor you or attend your event, you can not only raise vital funds for our projects overseas but also help to increase awareness of MSF's work and some of the world's most neglected crises.
MSF is not as well known as other organisations in the UK so anything that you can do to advertise our work to your friends, family and colleagues is greatly appreciated.
Help organising events
We do not organise events ourselves but are here to help with any events that you organise or get involved with.
For example, we do not hold charity places for the London Marathon but we do have many people run it each year and raise money for MSF by obtaining a place through the ballot system.
Inspiration
There are all sorts of events you can get involved with or organise yourself to support the work of MSF.
On the sporty side of things you could run a marathon, go on a sponsored walk, climb a mountain or even cycle around the world!
If you are not the sporty type there are plenty of things that you can do to raise money for MSF. We have lots of support from people organising collections at work, selling items at craft fairs, doing a sponsored silence, a sponsored bus hop, charity auction...
In fact, there are too many ways to mention on this page, you are limited only by your imagination!
