How to get to the office
BY TUBE
The MSF UK office is a ten minute walk from both Farringdon and Chancery Lane underground stations.
T1 From Farringdon tube station
- Take the tube (either Metropolitan, Circle, or Hammersmith & City lines), and stop at Farringdon station
- Turn right when exiting the station
- At the lights cross over the road (Farringdon road), keep going straight, pass the pub on the corner, and take the next right into Saffron Hill.
- Continue up Saffron Hill until you reach number 67-74 with the blue door on the right hand side. We are on the 3rd floor.
T2 From Chancery Lane tube station
- Take the Central line, stop at Chancery station.
- Take the exit towards Hatton Garden, turn left on to Leather Lane
- Turn right at the end of Leather Lane onto Clerkenwell Rd
- Walk a few metres down the road on the right hand side
- Turn right on to Saffron Hill. The office (67-74) is on the left-hand side with a blue door. We are on the 3rd floor.
BY TRAIN
The train station closest to the office is Farrington Underground; First Capital Connect trains from both Luton and Gatwick airport stop at this station. From the station it is an easy 3 min walk to the office.
Waterloo-Eurostar station (www.eurostar.com)
- Either: take the tube to Farrindgon (see T1) or Chancery Lane (see T2).
- Or much faster: take 243 bus (direction Wood Green Station) to the Hatton Garden stop. Cross over and walk left along Clerkenwell road and turn right into Saffron Hill. The office (67-74) is on the left-hand side with a blue door. We are on the 3rd floor.
FROM THE AIRPORT
Gatwick and Luton have direct trains to MSF UK.
From Gatwick Airport: (www.airwise.com/airports)
- Either (fast and direct): take the Thames link (First Capital Connect, FCC) train straight to Farringdon (see C-1). The train will be marked "Bedford". There are up to four trains every hour and the journey time is approx. 45-60 min. Approx. £10 single
- Or: take the Gatwick Express train to Victoria Station. It runs every 15 min from 05:00 to 23:45 and hourly overnight. Journey time is approx. 30 min. Approx. £11 single, approx. £20 return, same day return approx. £12. From Victoria, take the tube to Farringdon (see T1) or Chancery Lane (see T2)
- Or: take the Connex South Central's train to Victoria Station. Up to four trains each hour, journey time is approx. 40 min. Approx. £9 single, approx. £17 return, same day return approx. £9. From Victoria, take the tube to Farringdon (see T1) or Chancery Lane (see T2).
From Luton Airport (www.london-luton.co.uk)
- Either: Take the shuttle bus to the Luton train station, then the Thameslink (First Capital Connect, FCC) train to Farringdon (see T1). The train will be marked "Brighton". Journey time is approx. 30-45 min.
- Or (Cheaper but longer): Greenline 757 bus stopping Baker street and from there, take the tube to Farringdon (see T1).
From Stansted Airport
- Take Stansted Express to Liverpool Street Station. Journey time is approx. 45 min, single £13 approx. and return £23 approx. PLEASE NOTE: This train does not run on Sundays. Bus facilities are also available (www.stanstedexpress.com)
- From Liverpool Street Station, take the tube to Farringdon (see T1) or Chancery Lane (see T2)
From Heathrow Airport
- Fastest: take Heathrow Express to Paddington station. From here, take the tube to Farringdon (see T1). Discounts are available when booking your ticket online at www.heathrowexpress.co.uk. Train runs every 15 min, journey time is approx. 4 min5, and approx. £12 single, £23 return.
- The cheapest (tube fare) but longest way: take the Piccadilly Line to Kings cross and change for Farringdon (see T1)
From London City Airport (www.londoncityairport.com)
- Either: Take the green shuttle between the airport and Canning Town Station or Canary Wharf. From there, take the tube or the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) into the centre of London and take the tube to Farrindgon (see T1) or Chancery Lane (see T2).
- Or: take the blue shuttle bus to Liverpool Street Station to outside Liverpool Street Station bus stop A, The shuttle bus runs approx. every 10 min, and journey time is approx. 30min, /- £6 single. At Liverpool Street Station, take the tube to Farrindgon (see T1) or Chancery Lane (see T2).
