The people of Caquetá, Colombia's gateway to the Amazon, face threats of murder, forced disappearances, displacements and restrictions on their movement due to the armed conflict. They also suffer from institutional neglect and ineffectiveness, and lack the necessary mental-health support to cope with the social silence and stigmatisation that their involvement in the conflict brings - in effect making them triple victims.
