Melania Raga Bejarano, the nurse in charge of the maternity ward in San Francisco de Asis Hospital, Quibdo, has worked there for 10 years. Yurisan Mena Rengifo, the nurse in charge of the delivery room, has worked in the hospital for 6 years. Together, they explain the positive changes the hospital has seen since MSF started working there.
In May 2010, MSF will leave the maternity ward, but the services will continue through the dedicated hospital staff.
