Parkholme Supper Club: The First Moscow Supperclubs

Dalston, Hackney, London E8

Parkhome Supper Club was founded in September 2010 as the first charity supper club in the country. It's about raising money, the food and the people; no pretensions.

The 14th January 2012 event is The First Moscow Supperclubs – winter warmers from Russia with some interesting foreign influences...

Total meal price £40; £35 goes direct to MSF. Advance booking required.

For more information visit the Parkholme Supper Club website or check them out on Facebook

The team behind the club say: "People come not because we are serving the latest fashionable ingredient, or because we know what village our olive oil comes from or put bacon in our ice cream.

"They come because the food is good, often tried and tested recipes handed down through generations, made with real care, and authentic. And they have a wonderful time meeting interesting, lovely people.

"Guests are seated around a communal table seating 14 and it's a very sociable atmosphere.  We are located in a beautifully restored late Victorian house and you will be able to mingle with other guests in the drawing room before eating dinner in the elegant dining room."
