MSF interactive exhibition at WOMAD

Charlton Park, Malmesbury,Wiltshire

MSF is taking a cholera tent to this year’s WOMAD (World of Music, Arts and Dance) festival, from 28th to 31st July 2011.

The cholera treatment centre – just like those used to treat the life-threatening illness in Haiti, Chad and elsewhere – is kitted out like a field hospital, and staffed by MSF doctors, nurses and logisticians.

Visitors can lie on ‘cholera beds’ to watch short films showing MSF’s lifesaving work around the world, and hear first-hand from our staff about what it’s like to work in emergency situations.

An exhibition of the most powerful photographs from MSF’s projects will be on show, while children can wield a stethoscope or don a white coat in the kids’ play area.

We look forward to seeing you there!
